This practice fosters respect, trust, empathy and an inclusive environment where people experience a sense of belonging. Council is used at organizations such as Snap Inc. where it is taught and practiced extensively.

As a Council Facilitator, Sharon Faulds holds space that invites people into conversations welcoming our differences, sharing leadership, building relationships, and collaboration. The Council process deepens our capacity to listen, slow down, to talk our story and dreams into reality. At Snap we have found it also builds trust and empathy that supports effective communication while building strong teams.
With over 30 years of experience in health care she is passionate about helping individuals, teams, leaders and organizations in building capacity to thrive in a world filled with chaos and uncertainty. Sharon holds a Masters in Leadership from Royal Roads University. She has hosted and taught circle processes in a variety of environments in healthcare, education, corporations, communities, conferences, retreats and local community woman’s gatherings.

Michele Milan has spent over 20 years in leadership development designing and delivering leadership and governance programs for governments, corporations and organizations around the world. She specializes in mindfulness for leaders and as MSGI's Chief Learner, she is responsible for learning design, content curation and hosting.
Rita McDowall is a trusted leader, coach, and learning and development professional with over 20+ years of experience overseeing innovative learning initiatives for leaders in a wide array of industries and organizational settings. Rita is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and holds her Associate Certified Coach credential with the International Coach Federation. As a coach, Rita is passionate about working with individuals to build resilience, well-being, and live life with intention. She loves to help people shift from surviving to thriving, and believes thriving individuals create thriving teams, organizations, and communities. In addition to coaching, Rita focuses on creating and facilitating learning initiatives that contribute to the growth and well being of people, resulting in a positive impact on the organizations and communities they serve.
