Featured Speaker: Dr. Cortland Dahl, Researcher and Chief Contemplative Officer at the Centre for Healthy Minds

Cortland is has an eclectic career that includes nearly a decade spent living in Tibetan refugee settlements in India and Nepal, a Master's degree in Buddhist Studies, and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was mentored by neuroscientist Dr. Richard Davidson. He has published twelve books of translations from the Tibetan tradition, co-founded Tergar - a global network of meditation centers, and is actively involved in scientific research on meditation. He currently serves as Chief Contemplative Officer and Research Scientist at the Center for Healthy Minds at UW-Madison, and as Chairman, Co-Executive Director, and Senior Instructor of Tergar International.
